This project in Bath involved transforming a house with a restrictive layout into a more expansive and adaptable space. The key innovation here was the repositioning of the staircase to allow a thoughtfully designed extension that not only enhances the home's liveability but also doubles as a dedicated weaving teaching studio for our client.We focused on creating a seamless connection between the original house and the new extension, ensuring natural light floods both areas. The design carefully balances the need for a bright, inspiring creative workspace with the desire for comfortable, functional living areas. This dual-purpose extension provides a beautiful and practical environment for our client to pursue their craft, all within the comfort of their own home.
